Collections Representative is responsible for the revenue cycle for
optical retail services. Positions in this function includes
submitting claims, posting payments, performing insurance and
self-pay follow up and handling of unresolved inquiries/issues.
Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and managing
organization policies and workflows. This position is full-time (40
hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have
flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our
normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm CST.-- It may be
necessary, given the business need, to work occasional
overtime.--*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to
UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Primary
Responsibilities:
- Receive and review all correspondence daily from the home
office.
- Follow up on assigned insurance accounts.
- Make outgoing insurance calls checking claim status.--
- Function as liaison for optical teams.-- Notify Management of
any issues or concerns that may arise.

in.Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of insurance billing
- 1+ years of working in a clinical, dental, optical or hospital
setting
- Basic Proficiency with Windows PC applications and Microsoft
Office (create, edit, format Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our
normal business hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm CST.-- It may be
necessary, given the business need, to work occasional
overtimePreferred Qualifications:
- Experience with optical billing
- Experience with claims billing and insurance follow up
- Knowledgeable with CPT codes and diagnosis codesTelecommuting

- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if
applicable)

Island residents is $16.00 - $27.31.Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
