Job Description:

This AVP/VP Structurer position is within Citi's Multi Asset Group, part of Citi Global Markets, focusing on Equity Derivatives. The Structurer is a strategic professional who stays updated on industry developments and contributes to business strategy. They are recognized as a technical authority in their area, requiring basic commercial awareness. The role involves multiple colleagues with similar expertise and demands developed communication and diplomacy skills to influence others, including external clients. The position has a significant impact through complex deliverables, advising on technology and operations, affecting overall performance and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:

• The Structurer will play a key role in pricing and developing innovative financial products for investors.
  
• Perform payoff risk and P&L impact analysis pre-trade and post-trade scenarios.
  
• Conduct customized back tests and client portfolio analyses.
  
• Participate in pre-trade and post-sales efforts, working closely with institutional sales teams.
  
• Contribute to the development of new products and payoffs.
  
• Create marketing presentations and participate in client meetings.
  
• Collaborate with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure governance and control infrastructure.
  
• Promote a culture of responsible finance, good governance, expense discipline, and ethics.
  
• Assess risk/reward of transactions and ensure team members understand and consider the firm's reputation.
  
• Adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and supervision policies, ensuring team compliance.
  
• Follow all policies and procedures communicated for the role.
  
• Obtain and maintain necessary licenses within the required timeframe.
  
• Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, safeguarding Citi's reputation and assets, and escalate issues transparently.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
• At least 3 years of structuring experience in a financial institution.
  
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively with multiple functional groups.
  
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or ability to obtain.
  
  Education:
  
  
• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
  
• Background in mathematics, physics, computer science, financial engineering, or related fields.
