Job Description:
Senior Accountant CFS has once again partnered with a private
equity-backed organization that we've successfully worked with
before. They are looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team.
This is a newly created position due to the growth they've seen,
making it an exciting time to join! Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Fully on-site in Danbury, CT Salary: $85-100k
Responsibilities of Senior Accountant: Prepare journal entries,
financial statements, account reconciliations and analysis Assist
with month-end closing of the general ledger, accounts receivable
and accounts payable Review financial results and prepare variance
analysis and explanations from prior trends and budget Recommend
improvements to current processes and ways to reduce costs and
enhance revenue Perform monthly bank reconciliations Assist with
the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual covenant reporting
Assist with calculation of provider payrolls Prepare documentation
for external auditors Various special projects and other duties as
assigned Preferred Experience of Senior Accountant: Bachelor's
degree in accounting or finance required At least three years'
experience in accounting or a related field Strong mathematical and
analytical skills Big ERP NetSuite experience required. Proficient
in Microsoft Word and Excel Highly proficient in accounting
software Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven
ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to read
