UniFirst Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Manager, Financial Systems to join our Corporate Office. In this role, you will oversee and manage the financial systems that support our expansive service and production operations. Your expertise will help streamline our processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations, reinforcing our commitment to excellence in service delivery. Manage and oversee the daily operations of financial systems including maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of financial software solutions. Collaborate with IT department to ensure system functionality aligns with financial processing needs and strategic goals. Lead system upgrade projects, including planning, implementation, and reviewing/testing systems after updates to ensure continuity and efficiency. Provide training and support to team members on new financial systems and updates, ensuring widespread understanding and competent use. Develop best practices for financial system handling and data management in compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Generate and analyze reports from financial systems to help in strategic decision-making and financial planning. Liaise with external system vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and deliver expected system functionalities. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems Experience with large-scale financial software like SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication and leadership abilities Proficient in data analysis and financial reporting tools Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred Certifications in ERP software (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) are advantageous
