Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm with 2 - 3 days weekly covering the later hours of 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.   • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of prior medical / healthcare experience from one or more of the following: nursing, hospital, clinic, healthcare insurance, ER, EMT, long - term care or telephonic healthcare consulting
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Word (create and edit correspondence), Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, and sort spreadsheets, basic analytical formulas (VLOOKUP, if), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Ability to navigate a PC to open applications, send emails, and conduct data entry
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with 2 - 3 days weekly covering the later hours of 5:00 pm - 8:00 pmPreferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a health - related field
    • 1+ years of telephonic customer service experience
    • Bilingual fluency-Spanish
    • Previous CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease), cardiac or diabetic knowledge or experience
    • Healthcare or insurance benefits knowledge and / or experience
    • Experience with EMRTelecommuting Requirements:
      • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
      • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
      • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet serviceSoft Skills:
        • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
        • Ability to effectively communicate products clearly and accurately

SM Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $17.12 to $30.34. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $18.80 to $33.41.
