Financial Reporting & Analysis SpecialistHartfordConnecticutJob DescriptionWe have a great opportunity on our Finance team for a Financial Reporting & Analysis Specialist.

In this position you will lead parent company reporting and analysis, including forecasting and planning. Prepare and coordinate monthly/quarterly financial results, dashboards and Executive management presentations. In addition, you will support the financial closing process and PeopleSoft processing functions. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and initiatives. - QualificationsEducation and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting -or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years' experience in accounting and reporting
• P&C insurance experience is preferred
• CPA is a plusKnowledge and Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to influence at all levels of management
  • Ability to prioritized multiple tasks and work within tight time frames
  • Strong process improvement acumen
  • Strong computer skills including Excel spreadsheets, macros and working with databases. (PeopleSoft G/L and nVision, Power BI, SAP Business Objects or other digital reporting tools)
