Site Development Project Engineer – Civil Design Albany, NY
$70,000 – $95,000 Full-Time | Growth-Focused Are you a Civil
Engineer ready to step into a role that blends technical precision,
creative problem-solving, and community impact? We’re seeking a
Site Development Project Engineer to support and lead land
development projects across upstate New York and beyond. You’ll
work on high-visibility residential, commercial, and institutional
developments with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team—bringing
ideas to life from concept through construction. What You'll Be
Doing: Design and coordinate site layout, grading, utilities,
stormwater management, and roadway plans for land development
projects Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and
detailed engineering drawings Collaborate with planners,
architects, and environmental professionals to deliver well-rounded
solutions Participate in client meetings, agency reviews, and
project presentations Support junior team members and help maintain
project schedules and budgets What You'll Need: Bachelor’s Degree
in Civil Engineering 2–6 years of land development experience
(residential, commercial, or institutional) Proficiency in AutoCAD
Civil 3D Working knowledge of local and state permitting and design
regulations EIT certification preferred; PE track strongly
encouraged Strong communication and organizational skills What’s in
