Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available in Chicopee, MA, serving a middle school setting. This
contract position focuses on supporting a small caseload of six
students within a specialized program designed for learners with
significant support needs, including those with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD). Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the teacher of
record for a caseload of six middle school students enrolled in the
LINKS program. - Provide instructional leadership tailored to
students with significant support needs. - Implement Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) with fidelity to meet each student's
unique goals. - Collaborate closely with two paraprofessionals and
1:1 staff assigned to specific students to ensure effective
classroom support and student progress. - Maintain ongoing
communication with families and multidisciplinary teams to support
student development. Qualifications: - Valid Massachusetts Special
Education teaching license (SPED MA License) required. - Experience
working with middle school students and supporting those with ASD
is highly preferred. - Strong skills in differentiated instruction,
behavioral support strategies, and collaborative teamwork. Schedule
and Location: - Full-time position, Monday through Friday. -
