Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity seeks a skilled Special Education
Teacher to support elementary students in a contracted position
located in Woonsocket, RI. The role involves working with two
distinct caseloads focusing on young learners with special needs,
including social/emotional disabilities and autism spectrum
disorders. Key Responsibilities: Manage a self-contained elementary
classroom (Kindergarten to 2nd grade) with a caseload of 8
students. Collaborate with two paraprofessionals to deliver
tailored support and instruction. Support elementary students in a
resource setting (3rd to 4th grade) with a caseload to be
determined. Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) aligned with student needs. Foster an inclusive learning
environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families
and team members. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certification in Special Education. Experience working with
students on the autism spectrum and those with social/emotional
disabilities. Strong skills in managing small caseloads and
collaborating with support staff. Ability to create engaging and
effective lesson plans for K-4 grade levels. Excellent
communication and organizational skills. Location: School setting
