About the Opportunity: Hybrid Pathways is currently looking for a Senior Network Engineer specializing in Network perimeter security and firewalls, DNS, Proxy servers, ISP routing and B2B connectivity for our client. The right candidate would be a part of a team responsible for the design, implementation and 3rd Level Support of this infrastructure. This position would help support the 3rd largest enterprise in the USA.Responsibilities: * Evaluate products in the perimeter Network space and test in the Lab * Develop Network designs that meet business and infrastructure needs and functionality * Build a secure, high performing functioning internet egress/ingress access, with high availability * Provide 3rd Level On-call support for complex network issues * Work closely with B2B partners to develop connectivity solutions' * Assist with the Internet/Perimeter Integration between Clients * Work in a team setting, supporting one another Required Skills: * 5-7 years plus in the field of Network Security * Strong focus on Network Security in the Perimeter space * Experienced working in large enterprise environments * Team player with good oral and written communications * Experience with firewalls, DNS, Proxy, routing/switching, or some combination thereof Preferred Skills: * DNS - BIND, Infoblox, and Microsoft * Firewall support upgrade (Primarily Check Point and Cisco ASA. Also, Fortinet and Cisco FTD) * Firewall Rule Provisioning * F5 GTM and LTM (just needs basic understanding) * Support/monitor - Internet connectivity and Internet Service Provider (ISP) links * Support/monitor DDoS mitigation * Support/monitor Web Proxy Servers (Forcepoint / MacAfee) * Support B2B Connections (VPN) and provision new requests * Establish Connectivity with Partners * Monitor Sevone, Tivoli, Netcool * Global Information Security Support * Cyber incident response * Vulnerability Management of in-scope devices * DDOS mitigation * Must be extremely comfortable working in an RHEL 4.4 environment * Experience with shell scripting preferred Required Education: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Preferred Education: * Cisco / Checkpoint Certs About Us: Hybrid Pathways is a New England-based IT professional services company that assists mid-to-large enterprises with the implementation of secure IT environments that span on-premise and public cloud platforms.
