Our Hartford office has an immediate opening for a Transportation/Traffic Staff Engineer to join our growing team of industry-leading professionals with a variety of exciting projects in progress.Description:Day-to-day activities will vary. You may be conducting field investigations one day and working on a design project in the office the next. Our transportation/traffic engineers prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for roadways, drainage systems, traffic signals, bicycle and pedestrian features, signs and pavement markings, and temporary traffic control. They also conduct large scale conditions assessments, implement systemic improvement programs, and conduct analysis and develop concepts to improve mobility, safety, and quality of life.
