Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design flow path, fuel injection, combustor, and cooling
architecture to meet program requirements.
- CFD analysis of combustor/diffuser aerodynamics.
- Thermal analysis of combustor/diffuser hardware.
- Development & validation test execution.
- Prepare and present summary of technical analysis.
- Interfacing with other disciplines including design,
structures, operability, durability.Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience on CFD Tools like CFX, Ansys
- Fluent on Gas Turbine and components
- Under some direction, designs, analyzes, and validates
combustor aerodynamics and thermals to meet program
requirements.
- Contributes to the development of new/improved processes,
procedures, and engineering standard work.
- Ability to communicate results clearly and succinctly, as well
as seamlessly interface across multiple disciplines.
