We are looking for a Contract Managing Engineer for our Transportation Engineering group in our Hartford or Meriden office. This position requires an individual that is motivated to drive project schedules, administer CTDOT bridge and highway projects, manage design consultantsand maintain project documents in an organized manner.

Responsibilities Include:

• 
  
• Serving as the liaison between CTDOT, regulatory agencies, design consultant, and project stakeholders.
  
• Managingmultiple projects and respective design consultants.
  
• Maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  
• Preparingquantity estimates and cost estimates.
  
• Preparing project communications and coordinating with various personnel.
  
• Ensuring project compliance with CTDOT and FHWA policies, procedures, and design requirements.
  
• Assisting in technical review of design submissions.
  
• Maintaining project documentation.
  
• Utilize electronic drafting software using current BL platforms of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

  • Experience working with the CTDOT
    
  • Ability to work independently
    
  • Excellent written and oral communication
    
  • BSCE Preferred
    
  • EIT or PE a plus
