Azure DevOps Engineer Roots Automation is seeking an Azure DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to become a member of our team. -The ideal candidate has -knowledge and experience designing, migrating, and implementing complex hosting solutions using cloud-focused automation techniques. -You will work closely with Engineers/Developers/Data Scientists, Application teams, and Infrastructure and Security teams to deliver the best solutions for enterprise infrastructure design. -Candidates should possess excellent knowledge in public and hybrid cloud models, -particularly within a Microsoft Azure Context. - As a startup, Roots Automation offers a high-paced environment with ample growth and learning opportunities across multiple disciplines. - This role will have direct interaction with customers (SMEs/Business Process Owners), infrastructure team (Automation & Cloud), front-end development team and senior management. Equity ownership opportunities available for the right candidate. This is a remote position for a full-time hire. Responsibilities: -

• Deploy highly available, scalable, & secure cloud infrastructure - -a focus on Azure
• Design & develop automation to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) processes.
• Identify and remediate bottlenecks in coding development and deployment processes,
• Participate in code quality evaluations and process efficiency improvement.
• Work closely with the developers and Infrastructure teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment. Key Technology Requirements: -
  • Source Control: -Azure Repos (Git or GitHub)
  • Azure DevOps
  • CI/CD: -Azure Pipelines (YAML Builds) and Releases
  • Infrastructure Automation -tools: Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates, Ansible, etc.
  • Automation Scripts: -PowerShell, Azure PowerShell/CLI, bash, etc.
  • Azure Cloud Services: -App Services and Plans, Azure Functions, SQL Databases (IaaS & PaaS), Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Container Registries
  • Broad understanding of Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Azure Load balancers, Scale Sets, App Service Environments, Azure App Proxies, Network Security Groups, Azure Active Directory integration, Policy, SSL Certs and DNS
  • Container Expertise: -Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
  • Linux proficiency preferred, particularly in container-focused distros such as CoreOS
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics Additional Qualifications:
    • 5+ years' experience in DevOps
    • 2+ years' experience in Azure DevOps
    • 2+ CI/CD
    • Strong power shell scripting experience
    • Excellent understanding of and experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaaS)
