Job Description:
PCB INSPECTOR $23-27 DEPENDING on Experience Hours: 7am to
3:30pm Scope: The PCB Assembly Final Inspector will inspect
assembled printed circuit boards (PCB) for flaws that may have been
manufactured into the product during processing using magnifying
equipment and using documentation provided. Duties and
Responsibilities: Perform all types of visual inspection related to
assembled printed circuit boards using magnification equipment .
Perform solder inspection for BOTH Through hole and SMT defects .
Soldering Segregate and identify circuit boards with defects .
Inspect each board for value, polarity and placement and identify
the errors causing the defects in reports . Perform in-process
inspection when necessary . Compare shop traveler quantity to final
count and notify supervisor in cases of discrepancy . Complete
reject report, sign traveler and input data into final log . Obtain
final report package and move to the shipping department .
Certified or previously certified IPC 610 . Maintain a safe, neat
and orderly workplace Essential Knowledge and Skills: . Ability to
read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to
perform the job Understand basic arithmetic in reference to
instructions where interpretations are required Understanding of
prints and specifications including bills of material Ability to
visually verify fine detail work Ability to understand and follow
directions regarding inspecting assembled printed circuit board
Moderate physical lifting or moving of final finished circuit
boards (approx. 5-10 lbs) AOI experience is a plus! Education and
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 10 years experience inspecting printed
circuit boards Certified or previously certified IPC 610 High
School Diploma or equivalent preferred Proof of citizenship
(ITAR)
