Senior Staff Engineer, you will manage scientific research,
development, and testing of new products, manufacturing processes,
and raw materials. You will contribute to Takeda's mission by
developing innovative solutions to complex problems and mentoring
junior staff. You will report to the Head of Downstream
Manufacturing Sciences. How you will contribute: Lead and initiate
projects, including design, oversight, and completing of
experimental work, aimed at improving robustness, capacity, and
productivity of commercial downstream processes Provide technical
expertise and leadership with experimental support for
troubleshooting of process discrepancies Provide oversite and
direction for departmental efforts to improve robustness, capacity
Provide support to CMC strategy development Write and review study
proposals, development and commercial process description reports
Maintain lab equipment; identify improvements in lab operations
Support/lead complex investigation in manufacturing Lead and mentor
junior staff as an in-line or matrix leader Minimum
Requirements/Qualifications: A PhD in Chemical Engineering or
related discipline with 6 years of relevant experience; or MS in
Chemical Engineering or related disciplines with 8 years of
experience; or BS in Chemical Engineering or related disciplines
with 10 years of experience Have detailed understanding of protein
purification unit operations Understand data analysis and
statistically driven experimental design (DoE) Participate on
multiple cross-functional teams Capability for strategic analysis
and issue resolution and project management skills working in a
matrix environment Familiarity with digital and data analytics

Summary We understand compensation is an important factor as you

transparent with our pay practices. For Location: USA - MA -
Lexington - BIO OPS U.S. Base Salary Range: $137,000.00 -
$215,270.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated
range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend
on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the
individual applicant for the position, years of relevant
experience, specific and unique skills, level of education
attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and
the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they
will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be
in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the
job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term
and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to
participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and
company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic
