Who We Need We are growing and expanding our service coverage throughout Columbia County . We are hiring both regular full-time and seasonal full-time Pest Control Technicians to service customers within Columbia County. Ideal candidates learn quickly, can absorb technical information, and enjoy working independently while still receiving support from a supervisor and teammates. Each year, after the seasonal work period (April through October), many seasonal full-time employees are invited to transition into regular full-time roles. Seasonal full-time employees receive the same benefits as regular full-time employees. Pest Control Service Technicians deliver on our core focus of relationship-based pest management. By partnering with our residential and commercial customers, technicians will use their inspection skills to solve, treat, and prevent pest problems. Effective communication and strong technology skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues. What You Get! Operate company vehicles safely and maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemicals used, and observations made during inspections on a company issued mobile device. Mix, apply and treat with pesticides in compliance with state regulations and company policies. Arrive promptly at your first scheduled stop and complete all services within the time allotted. Inspect customer properties to identify pest activity and develop appropriate treatment plans. Identify potential pest entry points and advise customers on exclusion methods. Individuals should be capable of reaching with hands and arms, climbing on ladders, kneeling, and crawling. Applicants must possess the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and be comfortable getting on roofs as required. Technicians should anticipate working in various climates.
