SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Executive Director of the Help Me Grow (HMG) National Center, the Associate Director of Impact and Network Performance will be responsible for the development and implementation of a measurement framework for improving HMG network performance. S/he will be responsible for tracking HMG implementation outputs, intermediate and long term outcomes and impact metrics at the family, community, and system-level. In addition, the individual will partner with HMG affiliates to capture, analyze, and use their-own-data to understand the gaps, barriers, and success of families in utilizing HMG. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES * Partners with National Center Senior Leaders in managing a team of professionals in support of the continued implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of the Help Me Grow model in states and communities across the U.S. as a strategy to advance developmental promotion, early identification of concern or need, referral and linkage for families with young children (i.e. prenatal through 8) * Develops a measurement plan that builds off of the HMG Fidelity Assessment, that adds intermediate system-level, child/family-, and population-level outcomes. * Analyzes network performance against achievement benchmarks disaggregated by key features, including race/ethnic background. * Leads the development of a technical assistance portfolio that fills gaps in network performance. * Build strategic partnerships that will leverage HMG's evidence base for the advancement of early childhood system building, inclusive of participation in novel and innovative collaboratives that yield opportunities to communicate evidence of HMG's validity and impact. * Ensures the ongoing assessment and dissemination of affiliate implementation progress; analyzes for thematic trends and opportunities relevant to affiliates or the National Center. * Identifies the improvement needs of the network and designs and leads communities of practice that enhance the capacity of affiliates and the model to better address gaps and barriers. * Creates, leads and effectively manages a portfolio of strategic advising entities such as a National Partners and Expert Faculty to achieve Network impact. * Identifies and encourages appropriate training, development, and alignment of National Center staff to data and measurement opportunities that supports effective professional growth. * Effectively builds inter- and intra-departmental relationships to advance efforts that draw upon institutional collaborators and partners (i.e. Connecticut Children's Research Department, Population Health Analytics Department and etc.) * Demonstrates support for the mission, values and goals of the organization through behaviors that are consistent with CT Children's SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES * Directly supervises a team of 3-5 professionals at the entry- or intermediate-level. * A Master's degree or equivalent is required, PhD preferred, in Public Health, Early Childhood, Non-Profit Management, Human Development and Family Studies (or related field) with a concentrat * A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with experience that increases scope of control and influence. Demonstrated leadership capacity and ability to operate at a senior level * Experience in the implementation and advancement of evidence-informed and emerging strategies in early childhood comp KNOWLEDGE OF: * Sectors, initiatives, and stakeholders relevant to early childhood comprehensive system building * Tools and frameworks to assess system-level functions and processes, such as implementation science * Platforms to advance data collection and analysis, website development, survey administration, and peer-to-peer networking * Measurement strategies that promote and sustain collective impact across a diverse network * Virtual meeting technologies that facilitate information exchange SKILLS: * Superior verbal, written, and problem-solving skills * Critical and strategic thinking to facilitate idea generation and problem-solving * Ability to guide the work of and work in support of a team * Grant writing and proposal development * Data collection, management, and analysis * Computer literacy in PC Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) ABILITY TO: * Demonstrate CCMC Core Organizational Competencies * Influence others to advance a cohesive set of activities, actions, and strategies * Own the delivery of complex, multi-pronged initiatives and projects that have broad impact * Communicate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders * Use creative problem solving and strong decision-making skills to recommend courses of action * Proactively seek information that ensures a broader perspective needed to identify innovative solutions * Own the design of processes and activities that enable implementation of organizational strategy * Enact values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in program and organizational activities and outcomes.
