Director, Business Development - SalesforceWe're Acxiom! The goal of the Director, Business Development - Salesforce role is to establish and grow Acxiom's business for the Salesforce practice. This will be a growth role with a primary focus on leading Salesforce solution sales for Acxiom in the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will be accountable for setting Acxiom's sales strategy and execution with Salesforce: creating solutions, aligning with the Acxiom and Salesforce teams to sell those solutions, and meeting targets for the practice including revenue, pipeline creation, and other strategic objectives. This role will have significant cross-functional leadership requirements including Acxiom teams (sales, product, engineering, delivery), Salesforce teams (field sales and partnership orgs), and alignment with IPG.What you will do:Business Development

  • Set and refine Acxiom's vision and value proposition in the Salesforce ecosystem also with the participation of exec, sales, partnership, product, and delivery leadership
  • Drive the creation of Acxiom client-facing sales materials for partnership offerings including sales decks and partner marketing materials
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities, and lead and new business opportunities, through the sales process -- working collaboratively with Acxiom Sales, Sales Enablement, and Salesforce Sales teams
  • Monitor and manage performance metrics/measurement across the partnership portfolioFinancial & Contract Management
    • Maintain pipeline in Salesforce along with the support of Sales Operations
    • Ensure handling of contracting and related paperwork including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, etc with the support of Sales OperationsClient Management - Sales & Account Management
      • Align with client MDs to pursue Salesforce opportunities for upselling and growth of the accounts
      • Align with new logo sales executives to pursue new logo Salesforce opportunities
      • Align with other IPG agency clients, strategies, or other leadership for cross-agency sales pursuits and joint offering development
      • Escalation point for any sales engagement issues related to the partnershipPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS - WHAT YOU WILL NEED
        • Bachelor's degree and master's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university
        • 10+ years of experience in marketing tech, digital, marketing services industry, and/or strategic partnerships
        • 10+ years of experience in solution sales or partnership sales
        • Demonstrated success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
        • Ability to create new and creative partnership solutions and joint value propositions
        • Strong networking and influence management skills that translate into building commitment and driving actions across organizational boundaries
        • Ability to present to senior-level executives as well as run and facilitate strategic working sessions
