to the Vice President of National Provider Relations, Operations,
and Strategy, the Partner Data Integrity Associate Director
Provider Data is the senior leader over three core partner data
functions with 50+ employees that manage contract/demographic
update processes, rate sharing, and overall data accuracy on behalf
of our network value-based contracting arrangements and delegation
partners such as Accoutable Care Organizations (ACO), OptumCare,
and WellMed. -In this high-impact, high-profile role, you'll be
responsible for making business decisions that will broadly affect
the organization, enterprise, and industry. -You will direct
provider contract and demographic data priorities and operational
performance for over 1.6M healthcare professionals within our
current United Healthcare (UHC) network. -You'll also lead
operational and data service business strategies and ensure that
capacity models and financial forecasts are in alignment with
department inventory demands for new market, product, and
regulatory initiatives.The Partner Data Integrity department is
comprised of region/partner-aligned data analysts who perform
various activities in maintaining our provider network including
contract and demographic data analysis, platform load and/or
maintenance activities leveraging systems like IMPACT, ServiceNow,
Examiner, Emptoris, CLM, NDB, NICE, CSP Facets, COSMOS, Pulse, and
USP. -The Associate Director guides the individual
functional/partner teams with developing and maintaining consistent
standards for process governance, data integrity, and quality
assurance as well as coordinating resolution and executive
communication on high-priority escalations as appropriate. -This
role collaborates with senior leaders within Provider Market
Operations (PMO) and across UHC, UHN, and Optum including UHN &
Optum Contractors/Network Managers, PMO & Optum Provider Advocates,
UHC PDO Physician Production Operations (PPO), UHC PDO Provider
Contract and Rate Loading (PCRL), and UHC Provider Operations
change management and quality control support teams. -You'll enjoy
the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as
you take on some tough challenges. -Primary Responsibilities: -
- Accountable for delivering the core aspects of the overall
Provider Market Operations (PMO) business plan and strategic
roadmap related to provider data performance and quality for
Partner Data Integrity across all regions
- Sets appropriate expectations for department scope/performance
and delivers on them in a highly matrixed environment with shifting
priorities and variable stakeholder engagement; adapts self and
team to changing internal or external dynamics as the operating
model and partner needs evolve
- Motivates and inspires team members and ensures positive
employee engagement through intentional and consistent survey
action plans, team building, talent development, and change
management/communications. -Works with leaders to identify and
remove obstacles to employee and department success
- Clearly communicates goals, provides feedback, and holds others
accountable for their duties both within the department and with
key partners; intentionally develops self and employees/team for
continued growth and career mobility
- Builds relationships and leverages a network of customers,
partners, and experts to drive innovation and enhance performance
across PMO and partner/provider data functions. -Generates
excitement behind positive change and eagerness to experiment;
invites and explores potential for new ideas while identifying
organizational risks and key success factors
- Champions/owns specific key provider data strategic initiatives
with both direct/indirect leadership for large, complex programs to
ensure core strategies are effectively implemented and maintained
within our partners, PMO, UHN, and PDO. -Negotiates assignment of
self/leaders/staff to key strategic initiatives, ensuring that the
employees assigned are qualified and have sufficient availability
to meet the project's needs
- As needed, drives planning activities including tactical
planning and timeline development through applying structured
project management standards, approaches, methodologies, tools and
templates. -Informs and influences key executive stakeholders on
progress, alternatives, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Demonstrates strong business / financial acumen and effectively
quantifies benefits for our strategic initiatives. -Conducts data
analysis to guide strategies and plans; incorporates complex
analysis into business plan development and operational impact

in.Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience with UHC provider data or claim systems
with holistic knowledge of how they impact other aspects of the E2E
provider/member experience
- 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in provider data
operations, service, or network management
- 2+ years experience leading complex, cross-functional programs
and delivering enterprise value
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this

Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to
$176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is
$97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
