The ideal candidate will be involved in the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. They will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction and quality. -Responsibilities

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing position

R&R believes that creating strong partnerships with each and every customer, and delivering quality corrugated products is the key to success.Job SummaryThe ideal candidate for the Operations Manager/ Supervisor position will have prior leadership experience in a manufacturing facility or in Operations Management/ Production Management. This candidate will be responsible for learning about the entire customer service and production process. He/she will learn everything from processing an order to watching/participating in the order run on our machinery. This individual will strategize with other internal departments to ensure operational excellence, and will also learn how to run quality assessments in order to ensure customer satisfaction.After this candidate understands the entire process of how an order is generated, processed, manufactured and then shipped, he or she will be able to take on a management role. This candidate will then become involved in every aspect of the business (managing machine operators: hiring & training, providing updated inventory logs for the main office, analyzing time studies, finding the best scheduling process to ship and receive inventory, understanding how our sales teams process, purchasing/other business office functions, accounting, etc.) We believe that the ability to understand every department of our company is very valuable, and most of our current employees are cross trained.We are seeking a candidate that is willing to learn every aspect of the business. This candidate will then take a leadership position in running the production department. He/she should have the ability to problem solve in a fast paced manufacturing environment, and stay organized. The candidate should have excellent management skills because he/she will be supervising and managing all production employees, and working directly with other departments. Daily and weekly, the Production Manager Trainee will be responsible for taking an inventory of all paper, ink, stretch wrap, foam, strapping, etc. on our floor. This will allow our purchasing/customer service department to plan and order the necessary items.This candidate will also need to analyze the production payroll daily, and be able to document problems to bring to management.*R&R is looking for an individual who has the ability to interview and hire new talent when needed.**This candidate will learn how each and every machine works, and what the appropriate setup times and speeds should be.The production manager directly supervises all employees within the production department, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with R&R/ other organization's policies and applicable laws. We are looking for an exceptional leader that can help our team take R&R to the next level. This individual needs to have the ability to initiate excellent training programs to set and maintain quality, efficiencies and production levels to high standards within the packaging and container industry.Job Responsibilities
      • Learn & Understand the Production Process and Order Entry Process
      • Coach, mentor and train employees when necessary
      • Lead and monitor quality assessments to ensure customer satisfaction
      • Ensure production standards & product specifications are met
      • Authorize and notate production crews time & attendance daily
      • Schedule maintenance for all machinery & other housekeeping
      • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly meetings with staff to improve and discuss concerns
      • Manage absence issues & write up warnings when needed
      • Analyze and record machine speeds and efficiency
      • Demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence and Quality
      • Ability to lead in problem solving initiatives
      • Set clear goals daily, weekly & monthly and report on performance regularly to ensure focus
      • Encourage and promote an environment of safe work habits
      • Recognize employees that are doing outstanding workAdditional Knowledge & Qualifications

            • Operations Management, Production Management, Engineering or relevant field experience
