PuzzleHR is recruiting for Capital Workforce Partners Now Hiring: Re-Entry and Construction Programs Manager Location: Hartford, CT Summary: The Manager, Re-Entry & Construction Programs is responsible for managing CWP's re-entry programs as well as construction sector initiatives and ensuring that all program goals are achieved. Programs include but are not limited to: Best Chance program, Jobs Funnel Program, and other re-entry and/or construction related grants. Additionally, the Manager, Re-Entry & Construction Programs will participate as an active member of the regional Second Chance Partnership alongside program partners, contractors, and stakeholders. The Manager, Re-Entry & Construction Programs will assume responsibility for all program/grant operations as well as mange the staff and the day-to-day activities of the customer-facing office located at Veeder Place. What you will be doing: Coordinate and oversee the implementation efforts of all re-entry and construction programs to ensure successful attainment of all enrollment and performance goals. Manage and oversee the outreach, recruitment, and communications efforts of all related programs. Coordinate efforts of the contractual service providers. Identify opportunities for continual, improvement and promote related strategies. Report regularly on program results using ETO and CT Hires. Participate as an active member of the regional Second Chance Partnership. Develop linkages and partnerships among stakeholders and key constituencies to further success. Ensure strong financial management and accurate reporting, in collaboration with CWP finance team. Develop contract scopes of service, negotiate contract budgets, and development and execution of contract modifications. Identify and assess new service providers to increase capacity for construction sector initiatives. Develop and issue monthly and quarterly reports to supervisor as needed. Provide technical assistance and support to service providers as needed to ensure continuous improvement of service delivery, compliance with contract requirements and achievement of performance goals. Conduct site visits to service providers to assess capacity and technical assistance needs. Provide direct supervision to staff and complete performance evaluations. Other duties as assigned. Serve as positive, dynamic role model that displays the best work ethic, creative problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and team oriented/proactive approach. Support and champion CWP core values (supportive, creativity, diversity, positive attitude, collaborative, transparency, trustworthy)Management Duties and Responsibilities What you will need: A Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, social science or social work, or other applicable field of study. Five or more years' experience working with workforce development or employment and training programs that require complex project management to achieve results within budget and on time. Experience in making written and oral presentations and reports using both data and narrative sources. Familiarity with the Greater Hartford community, including the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with an array of stakeholders. Contract management experience required. Familiarity with the construction industry preferred.
