Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager
(RN) Inpatient Trauma Unit at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical
Center. The Clinical Manager provides management support to the
Director including coordination of staffing, competency assessment
of staff, regulatory oversight, fiscal operations, and annual
performance appraisal process. Assists the Director with
Performance Improvement activities, unit and patient satisfaction
issues, and policy development. Actively promotes an
interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to the delivery of
patient care across the continuum.personnel, the nursing unit
environment, and collaborates with patients, families, peers,
physicians and other members of the health care team in the
delivery of health care services to all ages of patients. The
Senior Clinical Advisor provides direct care to patients based on

- 1st shift daysYou Will Be Responsible For:
- Ensures high-quality standards of care and a safe environment
in compliance with infection control standards, specialty
organizations, DPH, and The Joint Commission standards and
recommendations, and assures consistent implementation by all
staff.
- Demonstrate ability to lead people through change processes and
execute an organizational strategic plan to develop and implement
long- and short-range goals and strategies.
- A track record of effectively partnering and communicating with
physicians to achieve objectives and results. Must demonstrate the
ability to affect positive medical staff relations while working
with highly qualified physicians.Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, required.
- Registered Nurse: Valid and Unrestricted Connecticut Registered
Nurse license.
- Experience: 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in an
acute care environment, including 1-3 years of clinical nursing
management experience. Med/Surg experience required, ICU
preferred.
- BLS or CPR certification: Current American Heart Association or
American Red Cross will be accepted.
- Ability to pass drug screenings and background checksPreferred
Skills and Competencies:
- Education: Master of Science in Nursing, or related field is
preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: ACLS
certification preferred; instructorship certification will be
accepted.
- Computer literacy, i.e. competent using web-based applications,
e-mail, and standard word and data applications such as Microsoft
