The Enterprise Data and Machine Learning team developing CVS Health's Modern Data Platform is looking for an exceptional Product Operations Director to join our team in one of our locations or as a remote employee: Hartford, CT; Wellesley, MA; New York, NY; Chicago, IL, Pittsburgh, PA, Irving, TX.

CVS Health has a large ecosystem of data that we are charged with bringing to its full potential. As a Product Operations and Strategic Finance Director, you will be working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and leaders within the product organization to provide strategic coordination, financial and budget alignment and reporting to the wider community of data platform stakeholders. You will be working at the intersection of our data platform, data products and cloud infrastructure teams. The goal of this role would be to identify, understand, prioritize and help manage strategic product and platform investments and opportunities that have a meaningful impact on the data platform and data product transformation efforts underway. This person will also play a key role in management of budgets and financial initiatives across the Data Platform organization.

Responsibilities:
--- Play a central role in the coordination of teams and resources across the data platform
--- Manage investment priorities and budgets for the Data Platform group with respect, with an eye toward strategic management of finances and alignment to overall data platform product strategic priorities
--- Create and automate reporting for the data platform to stakeholders across the enterprise, including both financial reporting and usage reporting for the platform
--- Manage a team of 2-3 analysts and product managers to execute on strategic, financial and reporting strategies for the data platform
--- Serve as thought partner to Data Platform leaders, across product, engineering, data science and analysis, and executive teams
--- Help define data platform product strategy, including helping to define and guide OKRs
--- Proactively identify possible downstream impacts from initiatives
--- Create strategic narratives for the data platform product organization, in the form of slide presentations as well as sophisticated financial models
--- Collaborate across the larger CVS Health organization with different product development, engineering, design, and innovation teams
--- Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities
--- Develop required analysis, synthesize materials, and create presentations to apprise stakeholders and leadership on program milestones and decisions
--- Work with other Product Mangers and Product Owners to determine and manage cross-team dependencies
--- Create high impact frameworks to prioritize decision making, roadmap planning, and to measure impact
--- Leverage data and analysis to create business cases for specific and incremental investments
--- Evaluate build vs. buy decisionsPay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 140,000
Maximum: 280,000Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications
--- A successful candidate will have a strong track record of effectively working with senior stakeholders
--- 5+ years of experience in a highly-analytical environment (e.g. top management consulting firm or large technology company in a finance, strategy or product role)
--- 3+ years of experience working in an Agile methodology, using Agile productivity tools, leading incremental software releases
--- 4+ years of experience working on platform capabilities, services, or productsPreferred Qualifications
--- An ability to think critically, perform comprehensive analyses independently and communicate recommendations in a clear and concise way is a must
--- Experience with SQL, Tableau and/or other data and data visualization tools
--- Demonstrated ability to write and document technical information
--- Previous experience in corporate strategy and/or developing strategy with regard to products for finance and corporate users
--- Working knowledge of a variety of healthcare data management processes and techniques, including data standards, interoperability, and proper data privacy
--- Experience with large data, analytics, and technology modernization initiativesEducation
--- Undergraduate degree required
--- Graduate degree preferred
