Learn more about our latest innovations at .Position Summary:Manage and build software engineering teams capable of predictably delivering quality product releases for consumer payments platform and internal CRM and support tools. Invest in tooling, process, automation (including the elimination of problematic processes) to increase efficiency of our software engineers. Continuously raise the bar on talent - every hire should be better than 50% of the talent already on the team. Finally, we want someone solid in helping engineers delivery higher quality software before it ever hits QA. Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps. These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be the HR manager of 8-12 developers ranging from junior to principal level
  • Oversee multiple development projects and initiatives to ensure documented architectures are being followed
  • Perform code reviews where appropriate to ensure quality and reliability standards are held
  • Hire, train, and mentor developers giving them opportunities to accomplish team goals
  • Work with product team to build roadmap of features and functionalityYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
    • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer or technical expert delivering large projects spanning multiple engineers
    • 6+ years of experience with C#/.Net and SQL databases
    • 4+ years of leading/managing people
    • 2+ years of experience working in Agile/sprints in a global team setupPreferred Qualifications:
      • Payments industry experience
      • Experience using Oracle database technology
      • Experience managing data metrics and logging of software capabilities for remote monitoring
