Who We Are:
The Oracle Local Government Global Business Unit is in the process
of designing & developing a suite of SaaS applications for the
state & local government markets using cutting edge technologies.
These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still
at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives.
Who You Are:
The Project Manager role is a challenging, exciting opportunity for
you to manage full lifecycle Cloud Implementations for our new
NetSuite for Government product within our growing business unit.
In this role you will manage multiple cloud projects and be
responsible for the successful delivery of those projects. You will
work with leaders in the Oracle Local Government Business Unit,
Product, Development and Support organizations to focus on
delivering a world-class implementation of Oracle software and
products.
You will demonstrate your ability to follow solid project
management principles and successfully manage projects of
increasing complexity. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to
deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. An ideal
candidate will use their experience in government accounting and
financial operations to efficiently manage successful
implementations.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
Lead a project team in delivering Oracle NetSuite for Government
solutions to the customer
Use your background in government accounting and finance to
identify and solve critical project objectives
Develop trusted relationships with customers, set expectations,
provide meaningful and timely communication, and deliver on
promises and commitments
Methodically manage complex business and logistical challenges
Provide day to day direction to the project team and regular
project status to the customer
Exercise creativity, independent judgment, and business acumen in
selecting methods and techniques
Exhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key
project sponsors
Adopt and apply the Oracle True Cloud Method to Local Government
implementations
What you've done:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 5 years) work
experience
Certified Project Management Professional
5+ years of managing complex cloud and SaaS projects to successful
delivery
3+ years in a government accounting, finance, operations, or
related role (payroll, bookkeeping, municipal tax administration,
etc.)
Experience implementing Oracle NetSuite
Proven self-starter that proactively develops working relationships
with key internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and time management skills
Experienced with gap analysis, risk mitigation, issue
documentation, tracking and prioritization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Shown comfort working in rapid paced environments with evolving
expectations and priorities.
Able to travel up to 25% of the time depending on need
It would be awesome if you also had:
PM Methodology certification
Scrum Master certification
Knowledge/familiarity with Oracle products and services, including
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific
to the stated location(s)
California Pay Range: from $87,800 to $225,400 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.
Colorado Pay Range: from $103,500 to $202,900 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.
New York City Pay Range: from $103,500 to $214,200 per annum. May
be eligible for bonus and equity.
Washington Pay Range: from $114,000 to $214,200 per annum. May be
eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to
account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market
conditions, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products,
industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the
preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years
of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working
between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20
hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire.
Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each
year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
