What you'll do here:
As the Director of Engineering, you will divide time, effort and
attention between people management responsibilities and project
team development responsibilities - leading a team of software
developers and technical resources for application development and
support. You will be working in a highly collaborative,
multi-functional and Agile team environment, providing guidance and
direction as a reporting manager while working jointly with other
managers and Project Leaders to provide leadership to the Agile
teams. We are a matrixed environment, and you must be comfortable
with situational leadership, able to function equally well as a
leader or as a team member respecting the team opinion.
Meet with the Technology Solutions Partner and engineering managers
to understand customers' technological needs; provide
recommendations for potential technology solutions
Deliver value to plan, communicating clearly, engaging product
teams, software engineers, interface designers and domain
authorities across different parts of the organization
Responsible for leading all aspects of development of Salesforce
integrated technologies and Optimizely CMS and PIM technologies
Develop a deep understanding of the interconnections between
various Salesforce platforms and coordinate projects that
integrates various external data sources
Develop team structure and execution strategies, leading the
overall software development lifecycle
Build a strong and engaged team combining on-shore and off-shore
resources focused on delivering complex solutions within a Scrum
environment
Collaborate with the architecture team to evaluate and contribute
to technical design documents that outline the technical risks and
strategies for product initiatives and complex business
problems
Performs root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and design
spikes to define architecture supporting high-quality resilient
software
Skills You'll Need Here:
Required
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
combination of education and recent relevant work experience
required.
Minimum 5 years agile work environment experience following a
continuous delivery approach, highly collaborative, producing team
driven estimates and operate by team ownership
Proven experience leading remote teams and contractors
Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to champion
collaboration within and across teams
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrate a bias
for action, identify, resolve project issues quickly and
effectively within a fast-paced environment
Thorough understanding of and experience in structured software
development methodologies including design, development and
testing
Ability to be a liaison between dev team and partners, effectively
communicating technical concepts in terms adapted to the
audience
6 years proven experience with object-oriented systems and
enterprise design patterns
Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively
communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions
Needs good work ethic and strong sense of ownership of end
result
May require up to 10% travel
Preferred
Knowledge of and experience with large scale content and/or
structured systems including Content Management and transactional
systems
Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud
implementation and automation. Applications journey builder,
marketing cloud CDP, and interaction studio.
Experience implementing and supporting PIM, CMS solutions
Understanding of Web Standards, Accessibility, SEO

Base Pay Range
The full base pay range has been provided for this position.
Individual base pay will vary based on qualifications, experience,
internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often
incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond
this base pay range.
$131,600.00 - $210,600.00 USD
