Location: Boston, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $60 - 65 per hourOur client in the Retail space is seeking a Business Strategist for a short 3-month contract that is fully remote (though this candidate must work EST hours.) This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a cross-functional environment and enjoys solving complex business challenges. As a Strategy Manager, you'll drive long-term growth initiatives, support executive leadership, and play a key role in annual strategic planning.Responsibilities:Drive long-term growth strategy by identifying and evaluating high-priority initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to address strategic business challenges.Conduct research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and opportunity assessment.Synthesize insights and contribute to the annual strategic planning process.Partner with senior leadership across various functions to align on priorities and drive action.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, or 2 additional years of relevant experience in place of a degree.5 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, consulting, investment banking, or a related field.Or 4 years with an MBA or Master's degree.Or 7 years of total experience without a degree.Strong analytical skills, including experience with both qualitative and quantitative analysis and financial modeling.Experience researching and analyzing consumer trends, industries, and competitors.Proven ability to structure problems and manage multiple projects at once.Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and influencing stakeholders across teams.Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders.Experience in consumer-facing industries-such as apparel, retail, digital commerce, or services-is a plus.
