Opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient neurosurgery services to patients in Vernon, CT, and intraoperative first assist services at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT. • Neurosurgery advanced practitioners provide follow up care for minimally invasive surgical patients that include, but are not limited to deep brain stimulation, cervical, and lumbar.
• M-F 5 8's with flexible shifts times. No call.

Qualifications Eligibility to be licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required. Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification is required for Nurse Practitioners to First Assist in the OR. RNFA certification is not required for a Nurse Practitioner to solely work in the practice. Surgical experience and experience practicing as an Advanced Practitioner is highly preferred.
