Hartford Hospital is one of the largest and most respected teaching

The Neuro-Surgical ICU is a 17 bed adult in-patient unit caring for
critically ill Neurological patients. Our patients have diagnosis
of stroke, head or spinal cord trauma and brain hemorrhage. These
patients require a staff specialized in intra-cranial and
hemo-dynamic monitoring along with the use of vaso-active
medications. In this rewarding and exciting specialty, our team is
highly motivated and has advanced critical thinking skills.Job

- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required).
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association and proof
of Arrhythmia Certification required prior to date of hire.
- Minimum one year Acute Care RN experience strongly
- In exceptional circumstances, experienced ASN/ADN nurses
currently in pursuit of a BSN or MSN may be considered.
- Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply through the Critical
