(RN). - -Hartford Hospital is one of the largest and most respected
teaching hospitals in New England. We are a Level 1 Trauma Center
that provides cutting edge treatment to its patients. This is made
possible by being home to the largest robotic surgery center in the
Northeast and the Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation
(CESI), one of the most-advanced medical simulation training
centers in the world. When hospitals cannot provide the advanced
care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require,
they turn to us. -The Cardiothoracic ICU is a 16 bed Cardiac
Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Hartford Hospital. Our primary
focus is on recovering patients after open heart surgery. We also
take care of patients who require temporary VADs and ECMO therapy.
The Cardiothoracic ICU also recovers patients after durable VAD
placement and heart transplantation. We also offer technology such
as CRRT and IABP therapy to patients in need. Job Summary -In
Critical Care, our Registered Nurses (RNs) are highly skilled and
trained; helping to provide expertise at the bedside and the
highest quality care in the most compassionate way. The units
