Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription::Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (Senior Clinical Advisor) to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Senior Clinical Advisor assists in the management of unit personnel, the nursing unit environment, and collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to all ages of patients. The Senior Clinical Advisor provides direct care to patients based on patients' age, developmental level, and priorities. Position may require working at both campuses or alternate site.Our newly renovated 32 bed unit is a nationally recognized Center Of Excellence for Heart Failure. Primary patient diagnosis on this unit is acute or chronic CHF, while we also care for patients with other cardiac conditions such as AFIB, CAD, STEMI, pacemaker, ICD placements and soon LVADs.Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, Day ShiftYou Will Be Responsible For:
    • Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively.
    • Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member.
    • Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
    • Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
    • Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.Requirements:
      • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
      • Licensure: Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in ConnecticutPreferred Skills:
        • Certification: ACLS, Stroke Certification
