Psychiatric-Mental Health opening in Hartford, Connecticut. Psychiatrist - Inpatient - Locum Tenens - Open Hourly Pay Rate

Hartford, Connecticut

Full-time Locum Inpatient Psychiatry Physician to provide coverage starting ASAP for a 6 month assignment.

Credentialing timeframe 30-45 days!

Position Details

• Hospital consults and rounding in the inpatient psych unit
• 12-15 patients for day
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient Demographic: All ages, 85% adult.
• PMHNP coverage
• Potentially be supervising an APP ( Advanced practice providers)
• 3 in Inpatient Psychiatrists ; 2 Outpatient Psychiatrists ; 1 in Consult
• Level 1 trauma center experience ,
• Working with diverse patient population
• Experience with the following treatment disorders: Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic Disorders
  Compensation & Benefits
  • Open hourly pay rate. You present your desired rate!
  • Weekly payroll and direct deposit
  • Malpractice insurance covered
    Schedule
    • ASAP Start
    • 6 month assignment
    • Days: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
    • Weekends and evenings Call
    • On Call schedule/ratio is shared between 6 providers
      Requirements
      • Board Certified Psychiatrist - Required
      • CT license in hand at name clear - Highly Preferred
      • Familiarity with
      • ACLS (AHA)
      • BLS (AHA) - Required
      • Board Certified
      • DEA - Required
      • PALS (AHA)
      • CSR - Required
      • Clean malpractice and background - Required
      • Local, no flights - Preferred
      • Must have proof of COVID-19 Vaccine - Required
