Trinity Health Of New England, one of the nation's largest multi-institutional Catholic healthcare delivery systems, is seeking a gastrointestinal/genitourinary medical oncologist. Trinity offers nationally recognized cancer care, upholding the highest cancer diagnosis and treatment standards.

Opportunity Highlights

• Excellent work-life balance - Mon-Fri, 8 am to 5 pm - 4 clinical days and 1 day of admin time
• Weekday and weekend call is 1:12; very light call
• Patient mix: 50% to 60% GI and 20% to 30% GU
• Inpatient service only 12 to 14 days per year
• A built-in network refers patients
• Staff consists of APPs, MAs, practice nurses, social work, nutrition, genetics counselors, research staff
• Strong academic affiliation with Yale: opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows and doing research and clinical trials with Yale
• Partnership with Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven
• Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI ) designation from the American Society of Clinical Oncology
