Job Summary
Provides outpatient and/or community care for clients who have
acquired brain injuries, mental health, and substance use
disorders. Works in collaboration with DMHAS ABI Statewide Services
to provide access across the continuum of care by assuring access
to individual/group services, providing assessment with appropriate
level of care placements , and collaboration on interdisciplinary
treatment team meetings . Maintains a caseload and performs
behavioral health, substance abuse interventions, and/or crisis
intervention services independently. Ongoing training pertaining to
brain injury will be provided with the opportunity to become a
Certified Brain Injury Specialist. This position requires statewide
travel.
Job Description
Qualifications Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related
field.
Minimum of three years experience in dealing with psychiatric
patients and/or substance abuse population.
Previous experience in assessment and diagnosis and individual and
group therapy.
Demonstrated experience using a computer; basic keyboarding
skills.
