Responsibilities:- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals- Conduct dental examinations and develop treatment plans- Administer local anesthesia and provide pain management during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient care- Maintain accurate patient records and documentationRequirements:- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff- Ability to perform basic medical coding for billing purposes- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plusNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
