Come join us in developing and growing a brand new 10 bay PACU unit that will provide 24/7 post-operative care to patient populations of a variety of surgical and interventional procedures and services. The PACU RN recovers patients from general and regional anesthesia along with IV, conscious sedation requiring acute and ICU level of care. This position requires teamwork, autonomy, communication, and critical thinking skills, as well as collaboration, innovation, flexibility and amenability as we work with all disciplines to establish and facilitate interdepartmental work flows and relationships.QualificationsCurrent Connecticut RN LicenseGraduate of accredited nursing school with BSN preferredCurrent BLS and ACLS certification requiredPACU and/or ICU experience preferredTraining program available and required for step-down and Emergency Department experienced RNWe take great care of careers.With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
