Location Detail: 80 Seymour Street (10008) Shift Detail: 36 hr.
7a-7:30p and required every other weekend and holiday Work where

Emergency Department-based Observation Unit at Hartford Hospital is
a fast-paced, 20 bed unit devoted to the management of patients
requiring 24-48 hours to determine whether a patient can be safely
discharged or admitted to the hospital. Our team of Registered
Nurses, ED Providers, Hospitalists, Techs, administrative
professionals and support staff is dedicated specifically to this
unit, where we continue to provide safe, personalized,
compassionate care to all our patients. This unit's focus is on the
provision of care to patients requiring a period of Observation
before a medical decision can be made regarding patient admission
vs. discharge. All rooms are equipped with new, state of the art
technology to support even the most acute of patients.
