A Hospital ER is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. While in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, visit Pittsfield State Forest, Hancock Shaker Village, or the Berkshire Museum! This emergency medicine opportunity prioritizes providers with an active MA license, although it's not strictly required. Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications and be ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible within five years of residency. A clean background is preferred for a quicker onboarding process, and local providers are ideal. The facility sees an annual volume of 55,000 patients, offers 8-hour shifts, and includes both MD and APP support. The EMR system used is Meditech.
