Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Interventional Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Hartford, CT. Job Function: - Day Shift. - 8:00 to 4:30pm. - Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. - Set up, operate, and maintain equipment according to policy and procedure. - Ability to explain procedures to patients. - Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient. - Minimize radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques. Job Requirements: - At least one year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience is required. - Graduate of an accredited radiology program. - ASRT certified/ - BLS certification from the AHA. - CT DPH License.
