ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit Level III for a travel nursing job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 13-week assignment duration • Minimum 34.5 hours guaranteed per week • Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed • BSN or higher degree from accredited nursing school required • New York State RN license required (or by reciprocity) • Minimum 3 years ICU experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, and De-escalation certification • Preferred certifications: CCRN and TNCC • Must wear royal blue scrubs • Manage patients with EVD, multiple medication drips, and use of Hemosphere Flotrac • Care for trauma patients of varying severities • Perform assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS scales • Provide care for patients receiving hypothermia treatment • Manage pleurevac chest tube drainage systems • Experience with Allscript EMR system required • Proficiency with PCA pump operation • Strict adherence to isolation precautions and hand hygiene protocols required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing critical care services for patients with complex medical conditions and trauma cases.
