Worcester offers vibrant culture, scenic parks, and easy access to Boston—making it an ideal location for healthcare professionals seeking travel nursing jobs in Massachusetts./n /n/nJob Details – NICU RN Travel Assignment/n /n - Location: Worcester, MA 01605 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)/n - Facility: Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)/n - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse/n - Start Date: December 30, 2025/n - End Date: March 31, 2026/n - Duration: 13-week contract/n - Shifts: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360–$2420/n - Patient Population: Neonates and infants (daily census ~40, 49 beds)/n - Orientation: 48 hours/n /n/nQualifications – NICU Registered Nurse/n /n - Active Massachusetts RN license (conditional license accepted)/n - Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Level III or IV NICU nursing jobs/n - NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification/n - BLS certification (Basic Life Support)/n - EPIC charting experience required/n - Infant Driven Feeding Training preferred/n - Ability to pass Telemetry exam during orientation (80% passing score)/n - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)/n /n/nKey Responsibilities – NICU RN/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates and infants in a fast-paced NICU setting/n - Administer medications, blood products, and perform advanced procedures (arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management: AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)/n - Monitor and interpret vital signs, APGAR scoring, and manage respiratory support (high flow nasal cannula, JET, HFOV)/n - Deliver developmental care, breastfeeding support, and family education/n - Assist with pre- and post-operative care for neonates with surgical interventions (TEF/EA, gastroschisis, omphalocele, g-tube placement)/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (respiratory therapy, radiology, social services)/n - Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records/n - Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training modules/n /n/n /n Discover rewarding NICU nursing jobs in Worcester, MA and make a difference in neonatal healthcare.
