Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare institution

is seeking a Clinical Nurse III for our specialized C4/C3W
Infectious Disease/Secure Unit. This role demands a highly skilled
nurse who can manage complex patient situations in a secure
environment that requires adherence to the highest standards of
safety and infection control. Successful candidates will
demonstrate a deep understanding of infectious diseases, patient
management, and strict protocol adherence to ensure the health and
safety of patients and staff. This position represents an excellent

outcomes. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients
within the Infectious Disease Secure Unit. Implement infection
control measures to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
Administer medications and treatments with precision and adherence
to stringent protocols. Monitor patient conditions continuously;
record observations and intervene as appropriate to ensure optimal
patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on infection
prevention and control. Collaborate with multidisciplinary
healthcare teams to facilitate integrated, comprehensive care.
Participate in research and development activities aimed at
advancing care and treatment protocols within the unit. In-depth
knowledge of infectious diseases Expertise in clinical hygiene and
infection prevention Ability to work in high-pressure environments
High level of proficiency in using medical software and electronic
health records Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state
Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred BLS/ACLS
certification
