the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find
a qualified Hospice RN in Fall River, Massachusetts, 02720! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 -
17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience
or 1 full year Hospice Experience License: Must have license in
hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Must have recent specialty
experience, proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and OASIS Description:
Provides coordinated and directed provision of home nursing care
according to physician's orders. Care is based on agency policies
and procedures through the competent application of the nursing
process. Responsible to the Clinical Manager. Directly supervises
and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical
Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Degree of travel includes home
visits and periodic office meetings. Must have reliable
transportation and current driver's license. Agency-required
liability insurance is also necessary. Average number of patients
per day ranges from 5 to 8. Contractor will be assigned between 5
to 10 patients per day. Each type of visit and activity holds a
different point value, with a total of 30 points expected per week.
Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-Up
Visits. Weekend requirements vary per location and profession.
On-call requirements also vary per location and profession. Must be
willing to travel up to 75 miles from home clinic for patient
visits. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The
commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable.
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Pending licenses
are not accepted; the license must be in hand. All documentation
must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment with the
patient. Candidates must understand there are no guaranteed hours
with this contract. Clinician must hit weekly productivity points.
Overtime must be pre-approved. Candidates must be open to on-call
rotations and flexible with patient assignments. 5 Benefits of
