Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatrics Location: Pittsfield, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,562 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years current Pediatric experience required License: Massachusetts RN License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS Must-Have: - Proven reliability and dependability - Willingness to float to Med/Surg or Post-Partum as needed - Own transportation Description: This is a very small unit. Call-outs will not be allowed as they can adversely affect patient care. Only the most dependable travelers are encouraged to apply. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified upon application. Requests for time off after application will not be approved. No more than 3 days of time off will be accepted; less is preferred. Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Patient-to-nurse ratio will be 1:3. The unit has a maximum capacity of 3 patients. There is no second nurse scheduled for the unit. Backup will be available from other staff members. Travelers will have a security badge with a panic button for immediate assistance. Pediatric nurses will understand the unique needs of children and adolescents. Family involvement in patient care is strongly encouraged. Rooming-in options for parents wishing to stay with their child are provided. In-room games and videos, as well as a playroom, are available for children without contagious illnesses. Experience in adult medical-surgical nursing is preferred but not required. Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferable. Permanent address must be included in the application profile.
