Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join a clinical healthcare team providing high-quality specimen collection and patient-centered care in a professional medical environment. What You’ll Do: Perform blood draws for inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients Complete STAT, ASAP, and timed collections accurately and efficiently Process specimens, including labeling, centrifugation, aliquoting, and preparation for transport Ensure positive patient identification and maintain specimen integrity Document procedures in accordance with healthcare standards Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy protocols Participate in periodic laboratory quality meetings Required Qualifications: 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience in a hospital or clinical setting Strong venipuncture skills (vacutainer, butterfly, syringe, capillary sticks) Active ASCP or AMT certification (required) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain before start) Ability to meet healthcare compliance, immunization, and training requirements Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach Preferred Experience: High-volume clinical or inpatient environments Handling time-sensitive collections and complex patient populations Specimen processing and laboratory workflow familiarity
