Job Description Express Healthcare Staffing NY is seeking a travel nurse RN Trauma for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Trauma - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Requested Skill Set: We care for patients from the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Step-down Unit, Emergency Department, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Special skills- Wound vac changes, tracheostomy management & teaching, Cortrak management, IV insertion, phlebotomy, Vocera Badge and Web Console communication, telemetry monitoring, traction management, bariatric post- surgery, ostomy management & teaching, chest tube management, surgical and or pigtail drain management and teaching, and TPN. Procedures performed on unit: Assist with Chest tube insertion; Central Line insertion/removal, Wound Vac changes, NG, Cortrak, indwelling catheters, wound debridement, ex-fix adjustments, derma-close adjustments, and nebulizer treatments. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
