Beds - Type: Community Hospital (No NICU on-site) ??? Unit Details
– Women & Children’s (LDRP) - Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Newborn,
Postpartum, LDRP - Unit Setup: - 7 inpatient beds - 3 triage rooms
- ~300 deliveries/year - Patient Population: Labor, Delivery,
Newborns, Postpartum occasional Med/Surg overflow - Age Group: All
Requirements - Experience Required: - 1 year L&D experience -
Must have LDRP experience (independent) - Travel Experience:
Preferred - Epic Experience: Required (within last 2 years –
non-negotiable) Certifications - Required: BLS, NRP - Preferred:
ACLS, PALS/PEARS, STABLE ?? Key Skills Required - Baby nurse at
delivery - Neonatal resuscitation participation - Assigning APGAR
scores - Newborn meds post-delivery - IV starts, lab draws - PACU
care (post C-section) - Epidural catheter removal ??? Staffing &
Ratios - Ratios: - Active Labor/Pitocin: 1:1 - Couplets: 2–3 -
Support Staff: - ~3 LNAs/Perinatal Techs (not guaranteed each
shift) ? Schedule & Shifts - Shift: 7a–7p / 7p–7a (rotation every 2
weeks) - Weekend: Every other - Call: 2 × 12-hour shifts per 2 pay
periods - Holiday: Required - Scheduling Tool: WhenToWork -
Floating: Yes (helping hands only, no assignments) Systems &
Equipment - EMR: Epic, Philips Intellispace - Medication System:
Pyxis - Equipment: Electronic Fetal Monitors, Smart Pumps, Mindray
cardiac monitors Dress Code - Scrubs: Light Blue (provided) -
Shoes: Closed-toe - Jewelry: Remove in OR Orientation & Testing -
Orientation: 3 shifts (12 hours each) - Testing: Math test N95 fit
