The organization utilizes multiple EMR systems to ensure coordinated care delivery and maintains established protocols for serving vulnerable populations requiring specialized psychiatric treatment. About the Clinician's Workday The psychiatric nurse practitioner will provide specialized psychiatric care for adults and young adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness across multiple outpatient program locations throughout the week. Primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive 1-hour new evaluations and managing 30-minute medication checks for patients including those who are unhoused and those with active Substance Use Disorders. The clinician will work full-time for 35 hours per week in a hands-on capacity, traveling between different program sites and utilizing various EMR systems including Awards for PROS, AIRES for Outreach, and CARES for other locations. The position requires proven experience providing psychiatric care to this specialized population and comfort working face-to-face with adults requiring intensive community-based mental health services.
