Description: Looking for an experienced Pediatric Operating Room
Registered Nurse. Proficiency working within the operating room is
required. The level of acuity is high. Short call shifts up to
three times every six weeks. Up to four off shifts every six weeks.
One weekend shift and one weekend call every six weeks. Holiday
shifts and call coverage may be required. This facility is an acute
care facility with a total of 485 staffed beds. The charting system
used is Cerner. Additional interdisciplinary support is provided by
respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, and
pediatrics. Experience with procedures such as cleft lip/cleft
palate repair and tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy is required. The
daily census reflects a significant number of visits, with a total
of 26 operating rooms and 415 beds. Patient diagnoses are diverse,
necessitating a high level of skill and adaptability. Travel
experience is preferred. Verified professional references from two
